Money for retirement

One of the guys in our gang brought up a question yesterday and it was:
What is the minimum amount of money you want right now, so that you will stop working hereafter?
The "you" includes your family also.

My estimate - 2 crores.
2 people, including the guy who asked the question, said less than a crore. But then after hearing others' arguments, they set a revised target of 2 crores.
2 others said 2-3 crores. This included me.
1 lady wanted 10 crores.
Another friend of mine said that he would simply look for another maamanaar!
