When the annular eclipse came up on the 15th of January this year, I was in office. I tried capturing it using the video facility on my Nokia 5800 Xpress music mobile phone.
While there seemed to be some cloud interference, one cannot see the eclipse directly.
However, if you observe closely, there is a pink colored dot that keeps floating around and in that, you can see the eclipse.
I dont know the technical term for that pink colored dot, so please adjust.

And to the best of my knowledge, I havent become blind now. But apparently there are some ramifications for watching an eclipse through a normal camera lens and so I dont know if I am only going to experience some long term impact!
