This week has been longer than usual. Technically it still had only the permitted 7 days and each day also had the mandatory 24 hours. But the quantum of work that continued to bombard the Inbox of my email id was quite staggering. And when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Very cliched, but here's my twist: just think where are the tough really going? out of the troubled area:-)
And I had to go by car on 3 days this week. It blew up a hole in the wallet, which was in effect my monthly bus fare!
The reason for the difficult week - there was lot of work like I said before. But added to it, this was cubicle decoration week at work. Also wednesday was Avani Avittam - the day when most of us brahmins renew our license to be one! And thursday was the follow-up Gayathri Japam. So this was a heavy food week as well, as reflected in the pimple on my face.
However, the good thing was I caught up with two of my friends on Monday after almost 1 month. And both my teams won first two prizes in the cubicle decorations contest. The competion was quite bad in terms of number (only 2 other cubicles) and not so good in content as well. But still, a win is a win....
I will post the pictures after selecting the best ones from everyone on Monday.

Congrats on winning the cubicle decoration contest. So... you will be "cubicle decorator of the month" or "Best Cubicled Engineer" or something like that? Good one about renewal of Brahmin Licence. We in the industry call it ARROW BSA (Authorised Renewal and Restitution of White Back Scratching Apparatus)
i will not be given any of those name tags, but i will now be pulled into all such cultural events that get hosted by my unit in my office branch.
in effect it will be a case of - yaanai than thalaiyila manna pottunda maadhiri.
